Smales Farm

Project Description

Smales Farm – Takapuna

The project was ahead of programme throughout the course of construction which meant the Smales Management Team were able to give early access to the tenants for their fitouts and completion of the project happened on time. The project at Smales Farm consisted of building the hospo precinct for the Smales Farm group. The project was essentially 5 small buildings linked via an Arbour structure, constructed from imported hardwoods, steel and a variety of roofing types.

The fine finishing skills of the onsite Rucon team becomes very clear to see when you line up each post on the entry Arbour structure which are all within mm of each other.

The site team of Jason & Dan had a clear mandate from Rucon to make this the most enjoyable project that the Smales Team had completed. Our goal was to ensure we completed the project on time (achieved), for the tender price given to be the final cost(overall cost based on the tender scope was less than the price), for the quality of workmanship to be outstanding (achieved) and for the Smales team and the consultant team to have a hassle free project (we hope this was the case and certainly sounds like it was).
