Originally constructed in the1920’s,239 Ponsonby Road has undergone a major structural upgrade to bring this heritage building up to current code. The project involved re-strengthening work to the foundations and main structure with reinforced concrete sheer walls and foundations and the addition of significant structural steel members in the internal frame and roof space.

The external walls were also given an upgrade with the Python brick fixing system and parapet tie back systems we also installed. The internal spaces were then fitted out& upgraded for their new purposes.

The project gave one of the iconic Ponsonby Road buildings a new tenure which will allow her to service its tenants for a lot longer again
